It was then that I realized there was a new group of about five bots at a time joining faction every 5-10 minutes to add to the spam (aggravation level middle). Within ten-fifteen minutes of playing my list was full from Crimson Faction chat alone.aggravation level low. As I always do, I deleted my blocked list to start a fresh one for the day. So, what is a usually laid-back and chill gamer doing making a post like every other complaint post out there about the bots.I finally became just that annoyed. Today was the first day I found myself truly getting annoyed and aggravated with the bots and the lack of removal from the game when I logged on to do some dailies before work this morning. I'm not going to pretend to know how much work might have to go into implementing either a much larger block number or a limitless block list nor will I try and say how it will or won't effect the BNS server directly, but I do know something needs to be done or NCSoft is looking at losing more players then they probably already have.

I'm not pointing fingers at NCSoft, per say, but there needs to be a better solution then this that might deter some of the bots for.an hour? I know I am not the first one to suggest it, but the idea of a limit to 50 blocked characters is a bit.low with the large amounts of bots flooding the game and making it so people don't even want to play. Second, we all know there are bots already leveled past ten so what for them? Free reign to spam us all in every channel they can manage. All the bots have to do is level over ten and bam!, spam galore again. So what does this mean? First off, it won't hardly do anything.

We have removed the level restriction to report a bot or spammer.

We have added a level 10 or below chat restriction for Region, Faction and Party Finder Chat Channels.

I also know NCSoft plans to implement a potential 'fix/help' for the bot problem, but let's take a further look at that 'fix', shall we?īased on the community's feedback, we have implemented the below highly requested features:

I've been reading them and other posts on the forums (a rare occurrence for me). Before you say anything, I know there are posts on here already about the bots. However, as a completely laid-back and relaxed gamer I find myself thoroughly annoyed with the bots encroaching on the game. I merely play the game I enjoy and call it at that. Okay, first off, I am not one prone to partaking in the forums of games much.
